Kenya Good Neighbors has been running a school feeding program for all school going children in our cooperate schools both sponsored and non-sponsored. We initially provided a variety of food materials when the program started in the early 2000 but when the number of children grew bigger we narrowed down to only two types of food stuff, i.e maize, beans and rice. This decision was informed by the fact that school children at their formative stages need more proteins for their body growth
